2018 Snow Mold Field Day
The snow has finally melted, the plots are freshly rated, and it’s time to show off the results. We will be holding one snow mold field day this year at Wausau Country Club in Wausau, WI.
When: May 1st at 11:00 AM CST
Where: Wausau Country Club in Wausau, WI
Schedule
The field day will begin at 11:00 AM with a brief presentation (20 minutes) by Paul Koch regarding the trial results. The remainder will be open to peruse the plots on your own, and Paul Koch and Kurt Hockemeyer will be available to answer any questions. We will remain as long as people have questions. If inclement weather prevents us from touring the plots we will likely discuss the results inside the clubhouse.
No registration is required and light refreshments will be provided.
How do I get to the trial?
The trial is located on the 8th fairway just off of Country Club Road, just west of the clubhouse and the maintenance facility. The address for the clubhouse is 208 Country Club Road, Schofield, WI 54476. Look for our red truck parked next to the plot and park along the side of Country Club Road.
What about the other snow mold sites?
No field day will be held at Cherokee Country Club in Madison, WI or Marquette Country Club in Marquette, MI this year. Final research reports, along with pictures of each treatment, will be available for all sites online at http://tdl.wisc.edu/results/.
